HUARAL PROVINCE


The province of Huaral this located to the north of the department of Lima. This located in diverse ecological floors: Coast, Yunga, Quechua, Suni and Puna, which occupy 3.655 a territorial strip of Km2, between valleys of Huaura and Chillón.

Its climate is very humid and semi-warm in the Coast, with temperatures that border 30°C in summer and which 15.9°C and 19.9°C in winter fluctuate between. In the Yunga region the humidity is relatively low and it is characterized to have sun during almost all the year. The climate of the Quechua region is tempered and pleasant, with an annual average temperature that vary between 11°C and 16°C. In Suni and Puna the nights are extremely you cold (the low temperature frequently to the 0 °C).

The valley of Chancay is fruit par excellence. In general it has a tourist wealth still to reveal, mainly in the archaeological field, because in this territory they are

the main establishments of the culture of the Atahuallos, beginning by the magnificent Rúpac and the not less surprising Chíprac and Añay.
This conformed by 12 districts: High Atavillos, Low Ataviíllos, Ihuarí, Lampían, 27 of November, Pacaraos, Santa Cruz de Andamarca, Sumbilca, San Miguel de Acos, Aucallama, Huaral and Chancay.

Limit:

By the North: With the provinces of Huaura and Oyón.
By the South With the provinces of It sings and Lima.
By the East With the Hill department of Pasco.
By the West: With the Pacific Ocean.
